Lead Pastor

Dr. Anthony C. White

Dr. Anthony C. White acknowledged his call to preach the gospel in 2003 under the Rev. Dr. Arthur T. Jones, founding Pastor of Bible-Based Fellowship Church and has been operating in this call for over 10 years. Through pragmatic, expository preaching and teaching, Dr. Anthony C. White’s objective is to build relational bridges to connect people with the truth and spirit of God’s Word. He seeks to lead people into an authentic spiritual encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ where they can become:

  • Reconciled to God and others;
  • Renewed in a personal commitment to discipleship; and
  • Restored to God’s covenant blessings
Pastor White and his family joined Bible-Based Fellowship Church in 1996, and he has held several leadership positions in the ministry – Prayer Ministry Coordinator, Director of Children’s Ministry and Director of Ministries. Professionally, for more than 18 years, Pastor White was employed with the Travelers Insurance Company. For the last eight years of his tenure there, he worked as Training Manager. In the community, Pastor White has served as a volunteer with the West Hillsborough Department of Juvenile Justice as well as a mentor with the Florida Children’s Home Society. Pastor White is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and is happily married to his soul mate and bride, Lady Sonya White. Together, they have two grown children and two granddaughters.

Lady Sonya White

Lady Sonya White is the devoted wife and companion of lead pastor, Anthony C. White. In 1991 the two began their marital journey and together are the proud parents of two adult children and three grandchildren. Lady Sonya joyfully serves using her gift of encouragement whenever she has opportunity. She assists candidates for baptism, helps with new member orientation, and participates in local and global mission initiatives. During the day, she works as an auto casualty adjuster with USAA Insurance Company. Lady Sonya enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and biking. She is known for being her authentic self and having a fun-loving sense of humor.
